Summer is in full swing, blissmakers, and it seems like a good time to share a Bliss List post! The Bliss List posts are roundups of goods, services, practices and experiences that really bring me a feeling of joy, contentment, and/or fulfillment … you know … bliss!
This season I’m sharing some of my favorite things under the heading of Summer Beach Trip. The Summer Beach Trip is a highly anticipated event over here, and I’m keen to share some of the things I’m loving and/or coveting this Summer.

THE BLISS LIST: SUMMER BEACH TRIP EDITION 2024
Dr. Alkaitis Organic Soothing Gel - I recently wrote a blog post about this amazing skincare product. You can read it HERE. It’s a great tool for combatting sunburn, rosacea, heat rash, acne breakouts, cuts, bug bites and more.
OPI Nature Strong vegan nail polish - Nature Strong is the more natural vegan line of OPI nail polish. I’m currently loving the Cactus What You Preach shade. It’s a very 80’s-inspired pale turquoise. Perfect for seaside adventures!
Chaco’s Chillos Slides Sandals in Rising Sunset - I’ve long been a fan of Chaco’s sandals. They are sporty and durable enough to take me from beach to mountains and anywhere in between. (My Chaco’s were the only footwear I wore when walking the Camino de Santiago, and I was the only person I knew who never got a blister!) I am excited about these new Chillos slides. The Rising Sunset is a perfect color combo for Summer beach trips with their pastel sherbet colors and laid back vibe.
Claire V. Grey Masculin Feminin sweatshirt - I’m always in need of a warm layer or two … even in the Summer heat. (So many indoor spaces are blasting air conditioning at what feels like sub-zero temperatures!) This Claire V. number is definitely on my wish list. I’ve got another of their sweatshirts and it’s a staple in my wardrobe. This is the next darling sweatshirt I’m eyeing.
Left On Friday Swimsuits - I have never put on a swimsuit that was as flattering as a Left On Friday one. I don’t know how they do it, but the fabrics they use give beautiful support while remaining comfortable, unrestrictive and beautifully stylish. I have one bikini from them, and it's the suit I reach for the most. They are a cult favorite for good reason.
Surf Tarot Deck - I haven’t actually used this deck yet, but I love how on-theme it is! I’ve always been drawn to the surfing lifestyle, but an irrational phobia of things beneath the water’s surface has kept me from exploring it first hand. This beautifully designed tarot deck is a way I can get a piece of that surf action from the safety of the shore.
Kate Spade Chelsea Gingham Medium Backpack - This is a sweet little portable bag that reminds me of picnics with strawberries and cream. Big enough to hold your Summer essentials, but not so big as to be heavy or burdensome. I love that it’s made of recycled nylon. Plus, it’s super on sale! Win!
Mercado Portafolio Clutch in Cielo - For those evenings when you want to trade off your backpack for a slimmer clutch, this is a stunning option for balmy beach evenings. I love the classic cabana stripe print and the easy breezy natural palm fiber construction. It’s sustainably and ethically handcrafted, too, so you can feel good about putting your dollars here.
