I hereby make this promise to you: I will never belittle you, dismiss you, demean you, or turn you away for being who you are. This is a place of inclusivity and acceptance. You do not need to have the same opinions or beliefs as I do. 

 

That said, there is a caveat: Violence will not be tolerated here. Whether is speech, metaphor, or action, whether directed to the self of to others, violence will not stand here. I vow to support you where you are and to help you find more constructive ways to express your differing feelings and beliefs if you want that. I vow to hold space for you while you take the steps to owning and overcoming your own violent tendencies. (Yes, we ALL have violent tendencies.) But no intentional violence will be allowed to reside in this space. 

 

So, whether you are 'normal' or 'weird'; freak or geek; 'Soc' or 'Hood'; boy or girl or boy-and-girl or neither-boy-nor-girl; have pale skin, dark skin, or no skin at all; you are welcome here and you are safe here. And I will do my very best to help you honor the glory that is you.
